The desert is in full bloom around here. Plants that I thought were ugly, painful and, needed to be destroyed are now catching my attention. Hmmm..... i guess patience is a good thing.

Last week I worked with Italians from New York. If I closed my eyes and listened to them I thought I was with the Soprano's/Mafia.

I've decided that I love a good franchise. It's nice to be in the desert of El Paso and be able to walk into Starbucks and feel like a walk on the beach or some good snowboarding is just around the corner.

Do you want a coke? Down here... coke means pop/soda. If you're asked if you want a coke you then have to tell them what kind such as root beer, orange, sprite or actually coke. Confusing. On the note of soft drinks...I've decided that i need to stop drinking them. too much sugar for me and I do love my sweet things.

My team last week kept telling everyone to "mount up" when it was time to get in the van. They couldn't understand why I thought that was strange. Yep, I laughed a lot!
